On April 24, 2026, Sunway’s 2025 annual conference themed "Tech Innovation, Cost Cut & Efficiency Boost" was grandly held at the Party Building Meeting Room on the 2^nd floor of Zhuhai Sunway Plastic Injection Mould Co.,Ltd.. This event aims to fully carry out Sunway Group’s high-quality development strategy, and roll out key next-stage work centered on innovation empowerment and efficiency transformation.

Liang Yanfeng, Deputy Director of Jinwan District United Front Work Department & Secretary of Non-Public Enterprises Party Committee, Xiang Yu, Deputy Director of District Bureau of Science, Technology, Industry and Information, and Zhu Guangsheng, Deputy Secretary-General of District Federation of Industry and Commerce, attended to offer guidance. Bei Lichun, Chairman of Sunway Group, special guests Pan Zhisheng (General Manager of ZYWELL Tech), Deputy GM of Huang Wenjuan and Mr. Mo Fen joined the conference. During the conference, Fang Yanfen, He Haibiao and Zhao Lihua from Tech Center, Production & Manufacturing Dept and Finance Dept shared reports on project application, patent management and project administration respectively. Kang Sheren delivered an in-depth interpretation of Sunway Group Rules on Tech Innovation, Cost Reduction & Efficiency Improvement. The rules boost staff motivation via standardized management, with two special awards: Minor Tech Upgrade Award and Minor Cost Saving Award but no official project initiation required. Small improvements that deliver real optimization and cost cuts can win rewards after review by division experts and GM approval.

Cao Lan from Finance Dept explained practical operations for additional R&D expense deductions, helping the firm fully leverage tax and fiscal policies. Kang Qiang presented the delayed valve core, a 3-year R&D achievement for the sanitary ware line. After continuous technical breakthroughs, the first batch of upgraded products has been delivered to clients, fully meeting standards and winning high recognition, bringing prestige to Sunway.

Wang Xiaoqi, Deputy Director of Group Tech Center & Deputy GM of Sanitary Ware Division, stated in his speech that in today’s market, tech innovation is not an option but an essential for survival. Cost cutting is not our ultimate goal. Maximizing value through rational resource allocation is how Sunway maintains core competitiveness. He put forward the idea of Cherish every minor improvement, small tweaks create huge gains. All technical upgrades matter, no matter the scale. Tiny optimizations carry great value, and all team members should embrace and practice this mindset.

Government-Enterprise Collaboration, Honorary Moment:

Build an innovation ecosystem empowered by multi-party support

A grand award ceremony was held onsite. Secretary Liang Yanfeng, Deputy Director Xiang Yu, Deputy Secretary-General Zhu Guangsheng, GM Pan Zhisheng, Deputy GM Huang Wenjuan, Chairman Bei Lichun and Vice Chairman Bei Siwei handed out certificates and bonuses to winning teams, then took group photos together. Awards include the 2025 Patent Award (8 projects including Sanitary Ware Division), R&D Expense Management Award (3 projects including Products Division), and Tech Upgrade Award (3 projects including Sanitary Ware Division).

Liang Yanfeng commented in his speech that the Sunway Party Committee acts as a core political force. It guides Party members to lead technical breakthroughs, spearhead projects and shape corporate culture, serving as a powerful "red driving force". The District Federation of Industry and Commerce and Non-Public Enterprises Party Committee will keep building platforms for government-enterprise communication, industry-university-research cooperation and talent services, to create a better innovation environment for enterprises.

Xiang Yu pointed out that Sunway has hosted annual tech conferences since 2015, setting a benchmark for private enterprises pursuing tech innovation. Sticking to the philosophy "Tech First, Quality Supreme", Sunway keeps making breakthroughs in automotive, sanitary ware, consumer electronics and audio industries. It owns over 500 patents and has earned titles including National IP Advantage Enterprise, High-Tech Enterprise, Provincial Tech Center and Provincial Engineering Center, fully demonstrating private enterprises’ vitality and responsibility in technological innovation.
